The North West Dragons have made two big signings ahead of the 2024-25 domestic season.
Proteas fast bowler Marco Jansen and batsman Janneman Malan will both return to where they began their provincial careers.
Jansen had stints with the Knights and Warriors after leaving the Dragons in 2018, while Malan was in Potchefstroom from the 2015-16 to 2017-18 seasons, before furthering his career at the Lions, Western Province and Boland.
“It’s a great privilege for us to have Janneman back at the Dragons,” North West CEO Ismail Minty told Rapport newspaper. “And Marco always wanted to come back and be with his twin brother, Duan.”
However, the Dragons are set to lose Proteas spinner Senuran Muthusamy, who will either return to Durban or join the Northerns Titans.
