The Proteas have won the toss and will bat first as Australia look to avoid losing 5-0 for the first time in their ODI history.
The hosts have made no less than four changes as they look to complete a famous whitewash over their opponents.
David Miller, who was expected to be ruled out for the rest of the series, comes back in at the expense of Farhaan Behardien. All three of Kagiso Rabada, Dale Steyn and Imran Tahir return to the side, but Kyle Abbott has been rewarded for his Man of the Match 4-40 from the last outing by keeping his place in the side. It means Tabriz Shamsi, Aaron Phangiso and Dwaine Pretorius are left out, with Shamsi a bit of an injury doubt anyway.
Australia were expected to give Usman Khawaja a run around, but they’ve kept the same top seven, and have yet again tinkered with the bowling attack. It’s John Hastings who misses out this time, leaving Scott Boland as the most experienced paceman. Joe Mennie returns for his second game of the season.
