The Proteas lost the toss and will bowl first in the second T20I at Senwes Park in Potchefstroom.
The Proteas’ batting lineup are still under the microscope, while Ottis Gibson still searches for his best top six.
After scoring only 160 in the first T20I after electing to bat, the Proteas’ effort was sub-par considering the talent on display. Only debutant Rassie van der Dussen managed to score an admirable score of 56, with the next best scores being 39 from David Miller and 34 from the skipper Faf du Plessis.

Selectors decided to make four changes on a flat batting wicket at Senwes Park.
One absentee was confirmed in the days leading up to the match – CSA confirming that Imran Tahir was released from the squad and would be rested.
For the second match, Van Der Dussen has been pushed up the order with Gihahn Cloete giving way, while JP Duminy and Heinrich Klaasen come back into the lineup with Khaya Zondo and Christiaan Jonker missing out.
