The SABC will not broadcast the T20I and ODI series between the Proteas and Australia.
CSA confirmed on Tuesday that after protracted negotiations, it could not reach agreeable terms with the SABC to secure broadcast rights in time to cover the tour.
The statement read, “While CSA is disappointed at the prospect of many South Africans missing out on coverage of the thrill of the much-awaited Australia series, it reaffirms its commitment to making cricket accessible to all South Africans.”
The tour begins on Wednesday with the first T20I at Kingsmead in Durban.
The match will start at 6pm and be broadcast on SuperSport Cricket (DStv channel 212).
