Former Proteas batsman Ashwell Prince scored a big hundred for Victoria Cricket Club’s 2nd XI against Green Point Cricket Club.
Prince helped get Victoria out of trouble, arriving at the crease after both openers had been dismissed for ducks and scored 149* – more than half of the team’s total of 252-7.
Prince spent some time at the crease with his son Joshua.
The 45-year-old also represented Victoria in the Western Province Veterans Cricket Association league earlier in 2022.
Prince scored 3,665 runs in 66 Tests for the Proteas at an average of 41.64, including 11 hundreds and 11 fifties.
In 52 ODIs, he made 1,018 runs at an average of 35.10.
