At the conclusion of another round in the County Championship Ashwell Prince, Andrew Hall and Wayne Madsen moved up the leader boards, reports Gareth Stevens.
A few players slipped down the stats tables due to not having a game. Prince managed to move up one position, leapfrogging Dawid Malan, to become the top performing South African batsman in Division one.
Another quality performance by Hall wasn’t enough to stop Northamptonshire slumping to another heavy defeat. He gained a few spots on the batting list and slipped a couple on the bowling table, but remains the best all-rounder.
In Division two, Madsen continued his march up the table and is now in the top 15 run scorers. His confidence is sky high and his average is now nudging the 40 mark.
