North West Dragons all-rounder Senuran Muthusamy is the Pretoria Capitals’ wild-card signing for the SA20 league.
Muthusamy, who played one Test for the Proteas in 2019, is a left-arm spinner and middle-order batsman.
The 28-year-old played seven matches in this year’s T20 Challenge, taking three wickets at an average of 43.33 and an economy rate of 7.80, while scoring 143 runs at an average of 28.60 and a strike rate of 131.19.
Muthusamy has had an excellent 50-over One-Day Cup campaign for the Dragons.
In seven matches, he’s scored 259 runs at an average of 64.75 and a highest score of 88*, while taking three wickets at an average of 26.00 and an economy rate of 4.40.
