Cricket South Africa on Wednesday named the preliminary 30-man squad for the  World Cup as required by the tournament regulations. The final squad of 15 will be announced in January.

The World Cup starts on 14 February and runs until 29 March.

The Proteas will open their campaign against Zimbabwe at Seddon Park in Hamilton on 15 February.
