Former Proteas wicketkeeper Nic Pothas will take charge of Sri Lanka on an interim basis, following Graham Ford’s resignation.
SLC president Thilanga Sumathipala confirmed that the former Hampshire wicketkeeper-batsman’s first assignment will be the five-match ODI series at home to Zimbabwe.
Pothas is familiar with the Sri Lanka team environment, having been the team’s fielding coach since August.
