Aaron Finch scored an unbeaten fifty as the Gujarat Lions got off to a shaky start against the Sunriser Hyderabad.

Finch came to the pitch with the score on 26-3 in the sixth over. The Lions at that stage had lost Dwayne Smith (1), Suresh Raina (20) and Dinesh Karthik (0) and New Zealand’s Brendon McCullum would follow shortly after as he lost his wicket two overs later.

But Finch showed staying power as he battled his way to 51 not out from 42 balls, hitting three fours and one six, to help the Lions to 126-6 in their 20 overs.
