The dismissal of Sunrisers superstar David Warner for a duck, against the Pune Supergiants is the Play of the Day.
Warner had not made a duck in 29 IPL innings. And the Sunrisers needed him to impose himself in this match when the struggling Supergiants won the toss and chose to bowl first.
On the fourth ball of the innings, from Ashok Dinda, short and wide outside off, Warner went for the cut and hammered it straight to Ajinkya Rahane at backward point. That started a slide which saw the Sunrisers fall to 5-32 after eight overs,a and eventually to 118-8. They lost by 34 runs on the Duckworth-Lewis method, but it was never a contest.
