Aaron Phangiso’s bowling action has been given the green light after being re-tested at an ICC-accredited testing centre at the University of Pretoria.

The Joburg Super Kings spinner was suspended from bowling during the SA20 after the league’s independent bowling action panel ruled that his bowling action did not conform to ICC regulations.

Since first being reported, Phangiso has been undergoing bowling action remodelling and remedial work with the support of CSA head of high performance Vincent Barnes.

An improvement in his action has seen the suspension lifted by SA20’s independent expert panel.
