Diego Rosier and Wihan Lubbe struck centuries as the EP Warriors thrashed the KZN Dolphins by 208 runs at St George’s Park on Monday.
Opener Lubbe scored 100 off 106 – his maiden List A century – while No 3 Rosier smashed a career-best 148 off 127.
The two produced a 208-run partnership for the second wicket, with the hosts going on to post a massive 329-6.
In reply, the Dolphins were bowled out for a dismal 121 in 28.3 overs, opener Sarel Erwee (64 off 49 balls) fighting a lone cause.
Tsepo Ndwandwa (3-20), Tiaan van Vuuren (3-30) and Lubbe (2-30) were the Warriors standout bowlers.
In Paarl, Sisanda Magala (6-46) and Malusi Siboto (4-32) starred with the ball for the Central Gauteng Lions, who bowled out the Boland Rocks for 224.
The Lions reached their target with seven overs to spare after half-centuries from Joshua Richards (67 off 84 balls) and Reeza Hendricks (56 off 63).
In Bloemfontein, the North West Dragons celebrated a last-ball, three-wicket win over the Free State Knights.
Needing 280 to win, Lesego Senokwane (65 off 73) and Wesley Marshall (41 off 67) put on 114 for the first Dragons wicket.
Shaylin Pillay (52 off 70) and Delano Potgieter (54 off 41) then made valuable half-centuries after coming in at Nos 3 and 6, respectively, before Duan Jansen (22* off 16) and Khanya Cotani (18 off 10) got the visitors over the line.
The Knights had earlier made 279-7, with Matthew Kleinveldt (40 off 56), Jacques Snyman (45 off 46), Raynard van Tonder (51 off 65) and Pite van Biljon (65 off 64) all among the runs.
In Division 2, the KZN Inland Tuskers claimed a five-wicket win against the Northern Cape Heat in Pietermaritzburg.
Keith Dudgeon took 5-34 as the Heat were bowled out for 266 in 49.2 overs. Ernest Kemm (75 off 84 balls) and Evan Jones (73 off 60) top-scored for the visitors.
Cameron Delport then smashed an unbeaten 153 off 135 balls (13 fours and five sixes) as the Tuskers achieved victory with 4.1 overs remaining.
