Western Province and the Northerns Titans both claimed one-wicket victories in the One-Day Cup on Sunday.
At the Wanderers, WP No 11 batsman Beuran Hendricks smashed the final ball of the match from Wiaan Mulder for six to stun the Central Gauteng Lions.
At the other end was George Linde, who made an unbeaten 67 and was named Man of the Match.

Bjorn Fortuin (3-20) and Sisanda Magala (3-37) starred with the ball for the Lions.
Earlier, the hosts were bowled out for 186 in 43.2 overs. Rassie van der Dussen (67) and Sisanda Magala (57) scored half-centuries, while Tshepo Moreki (4-41) was the pick of the WP bowlers.
Needing 216 runs to beat the KZN Dolphins in Durban, the Titans were cruising to victory after a fourth-wicket partnership of 92 between Aiden Markram (70) and Heinrich Klaasen (42) took them to 126-3 in the 30th over.
But wickets then began to tumble and when the ninth fell in the 46th over, the visitors still needed 16 runs to win. Fortunately for them, Makhanya – a former Dolphin – and Lungi Ngidi (3*) held their nerve.
Prenelan Subrayen and Ottniel Baartman both picked up three wickets for the Dolphins.
The hosts had earlier posted 215-6 thanks to Khaya Zondo’s unbeaten 62. The Dolphins scored 84 runs off the last 10 overs of the innings, including 21 off the last over bowled by Ngidi.
Ayabulela Gqamane and Tabraiz Shamsi each took two wickets for the Titans.
In Paarl, the Boland Rocks beat the Free State Knights by four wickets in a rain-affected match reduced to 25-overs a side.
Jacques Snyman (60) top-scored for the Knights, who posted 166-6. Janneman Malan then struck 69 for the Rocks, who reached their target with three balls to spare.
In Gqeberha, the match between the EP Warriors and the North West Dragon was abandoned due to rain without a ball being bowled.
