Aiden Markram scored 89 off 71 balls as the Northerns Titans beat the EP Warriors by 23 runs in Centurion on Sunday.
The Proteas batsman, who made 80 off 62 balls in the Titans’ first One-Day Cup match against the Central Gauteng Lions on Friday, built on the platform provided by openers Jiveshan Pillay (69) and Dewald Brevis (45).
Corbin Bosch (27*) and Donavon Ferreira (23) then played their part at the end of the innings as the Titans were bowled out for 296 in 50 overs.
Ziyaad Abrahams took 4-69, including the big wicket of Markram.
Half-centuries from Tristan Stubbs (63), Lesiba Ngoepe (55) and Jordan Hermann (55) were not enough for the Warriors, who fell short of the target.
Junior Dala and Okuhle Cele claimed two wickets each for the Titans.

In Potchefstroom, the North West Dragons thrashed the Free State Knights by 109 runs.
After opting to bat first, Lesego Senokwane’s 79 and Heino Kuhn’s 96 powered the hosts to 268 all out, with Migael Pretorius taking 4-36 and Alfred Mothoa 3-46 for the visitors.
In reply, the Knights lost wickets at regular intervals and were bowled out for 159 in 41.3 overs.
Delano Potgieter (4-27 in nine overs) and Eldred Hawken (3-15 in eight) starred with the ball for the Dragons.
At Newlands, Western Province beat the KZN Dolphins by four wickets.
The Dolphins were in big trouble at 24-5 before Bradley Porteous (100) and Ruan de Swardt (28) helped stabilise the innings with a 42-run partnership. Porteous and Eathan Bosch (45) then put on another 113 runs as Dolphins finished on 226-9.
Nandre Burger took 3-41 for WP, while Beuran Hendricks, Mihlali Mpongwana and Junaid Dawood each picked up two wickets.
Tony de Zorzi (32) and Jonathan Bird (51) got the hosts’ run chase off to a solid start, with Edward Moore’s 94 and Mihlali Mpongwana’s 28* getting them over the line with five balls to spare.
