The victory, New Zealand’s 14 consecutive at home, was built on a massive first innings of 519/7 declared. Kane Williamson top scored with 251.
In reply the Windies were bowled out for just 138, Tim Southee taking a 4-for.
The tourists didn’t fare much better in the follow-on. Only Jermaine Blackwood (104) and Alzarri Joseph (86) mustered any resistance. The Windies were bowled out for 247, Neil Wagner taking 4/66.
