The Northerns teams to play in the interprovincial youth weeks in December have been announced, writes THEO GARRUN.
Three schools, Cornwall Hill College, Affies and Pretoria Boys’ High dominate the selections. They have six representatives each in the U15, U17 and U19 teams that were announced.
Cornwall Hill of Irene has three players in the U19A team, with Affies and Garsfontein supplying two each. There are three members of the team that played in last year’s Khaya Majola Week back this year. They are Wisani Mushwana of Pretoria Boys’ High, Musa Twala of St Alban’s and Cornwall Hill’s Sibusiso Maseko.
Northerns last played in – and won – the ‘main’ game at the Khaya Majola Week in 2016 when they beat hosts Free State by eight wickets in Bloemfontein.
