Trent Boult took four wickets and Henry Nicholls struck an unbeaten 49 as New Zealand comfortably saw off Bangladesh with an eight-wicket victory in Dunedin on Saturday.
Boult ripped through the Bangladesh attack with Jimmy Neesham and Mitchell Santner both adding two wickets each to dismiss the visitors for only 131.
It left an easy task for the Black Caps to chase down their target, with Nicholls and Martin Guptill making a swift start with the bat.
Guptill departed for 38, while Devon Conway made 27 before he was sent packing by Hasan Mahmud. Nicholls stood firm, though, and guided the hosts home in the 22nd over.
