A video has emerged of Australia’s David Warner verbally abusing Quinton de Kock of South Africa as the players walked off the field for the tea break at Kingsmead on Sunday.
In the video, Warner can be heard calling De Kock ‘a f***ing sook’. The footage was taken way before the two cricketers nearly came to blows in an incident that has dominated headlines since the game ended.

‘You f***ing sook. Have a look at you, you sook,’ Warner can be heard saying in De Kock’s direction.
‘Sook’ is an Australian slang term for someone who is soft, and lacking spirit and self-confidence.
Fresh allegations following the incident stated that Warner referred to De Kock’s mother and sister as ‘bush pigs’, and not the batsman himself.
On Tuesday, Australia wicketkeeper Tim Paine denied that his teammate had aimed a personal insult at De Kock, saying the South African got too personal when he mentioned Warner’s wife.
