Senuran Muthusamy smashed an unbeaten 60 off 29 balls as the North West Dragons beat the Central Gauteng Lions by four wickets in the T20 Challenge on Monday.
Muthusamy, who hit five sixes and four fours, was well supported by Delano Potgieter (34 off 17) as the Lions reached the target of 175 with five deliveries remaining in Potchefstroom.
Earlier, Wiaan Mulder scored 55 off 41 balls, which included two sixes off Kerwin Mungroo’s final over, and Evan Jones 37 off 24 as Lions posted 174-6.
Eldred Hawken (2-30) and Potgieter (2-29) claimed two wickets each, while Duan Jansen and Kerwin Mungroo also picked up important scalps.
