    Junior Dala has replaced Chris Morris in the Delhi Daredevils’ squad after the Proteas all-rounder returned home after picking up an injury. 

    The Proteas all-rounder has had a quiet campaign in the IPL this season and tweeted about his injury on Friday.

    Morris, who was recuperating from a back injury, missed the Daredevils home match against the Kings XI Punjab. He has played only four games out of six in this season with his last match being against the Royal Challengers Bangalore. He scored 46 runs and three wickets.

    Dala made his T20I debut for South Africa against India earlier this year, playing all three matches and picking up three wickets. He had a top season for the Titans this season and in 52 T20 matches, he has picked up 49 wickets with an average of 25.34 and economy rate of 8.24.

    The Delhi Daredevils are currently playing against the Kolkata Knight Riders and Dala has not made the first XI.
