Albie Morkel has joined the Bangladesh coaching staff for the ODI leg of their tour of South Africa.
The former Proteas all-rounder has been appointed power-hitting coach.
“He will be with the ODI team for a week or so. He will help the batters,” said Jalal Yunus, the BCB’s cricket operations chairman. “We will see how it goes and then decide what happens afterwards.”
Morkel is one of three South Africans in the Tigers camp, along with head coach Russell Domingo and recently appointed fast-bowling coach Allan Donald.
