Grant Morgan has replaced Michael Smith as head coach of the KZN Inland Tuskers.
The former Dolphins and Scotland assistant coach brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience to help the Tuskers in their quest for promotion to Division 1.
“It is with great excitement that I accept the challenge to return to a very special team and cricket union and a passionate cricketing community I have served before,” said Morgan. “I am deeply motivated to continue the great work done by Michael Smith [who resigned] and [CEO ] Jason Sathiaseelan and staff and move the team toward their goals going forward.
“I have worked with most of the players at some stage or other somewhere and want them to also reach their individual goals within the team context and enjoy their cricket and time in our special place in Pietermaritzburg.
“I look forward to working with former and new colleagues on the staff and board and to build wonderful memories and relationships as that is what life and cricket are all about.”
