The Momentum One-Day Cup final will require a reserve day to determine the 2021 champion after Thursday’s action in Potchefstroom was called off due to rain.
The competition has been heavily affected by persistent rain in North West, with Tuesday’s semi-final between the Lions and Knights also abandoned without a ball being bowled.
The men from Johannesburg and the defending champions Dolphins will return to the ground on Friday with the hope of better playing conditions.
Should rain spoil proceedings again, the trophy will be shared between the two teams.
Play is set to get under way at 10am and will be live on SuperSport Action.
