Aiden Markram will captain the South Africa Invitation XI to face Bangladesh in a three-day tour match at Willowmoore from 21-23 September. 

The Titans opener, who skippered the SA U19 World-Cup winning side in 2014, also recently captained South Africa A in their series against India.

‘We have chosen a squad consisting largely of CSA Academy players balanced by a few franchise players to provide the necessary experience,’ commented CSA National Selection Panel Convener Linda Zondi.

This will also be Russell Domingo’s first assignment as the SA A coach after Ottis Gibson was chosen to replace him as head coach for the Proteas.
