Marco Marais slamming the first century of the 2018 Africa T20 Cup campaign is our Play of the Day.

Opening the batting for Border, the 24-year-old’s unbeaten 103 came off 62 balls and included eight fours and seven sixes at a strike rate of 166.12. He helped his side to 193-4, a competitive total against Namibia.
Despite Namibia chasing the total down scoring 197-5 with two balls remaining, Marias set the tone for all batsmen in the tournament. He will look to continue his Africa T20 Cup form to prepare him efficiently for his first season for the Warriors.
This is Marais’ first T20 ton. Since he made his debut in List A cricket for Border in 2012, he has played 40 first-class matches, 37 List-A matches and 21 T20s. He has scored five 100s and seven 50s at an average of 37.14 in three-day cricket, two 100’s and six 50’s at an average of 37.44 in 50-overs cricket and one century and two 50s at an average of 33.26 in T20s.
