Pieter and Janneman Malan have the same batting stats after six innings in the 4-Day Domestic Series.
Both brothers have scored 382 runs for the Boland Rocks at an average of 76.40, with two fifties and one hundred.
Pieter’s century was an unbeaten 117* against Western Province in Paarl last November after he had made 96 in the first innings.
Janneman went big with 200* against the Free State Knights in Bloemfontein in October and last week scored 99 against the North West Dragons.
There are some statistical differences between the two when delving a bit deeper.
Janneman has the better strike rate, 57.87, compared to Pieter’s 43.90, and he has hit three sixes.
While Pieter hasn’t yet cleared the rope, he has struck 52 fours compared to his brother’s 41.
