CSA has announced the 15-player Proteas squad for the Women’s T20 World Cup in South Africa from 10-26 February.
The team will be captained by all-rounder Suné Luus, with Chloé Tryon continuing her role as vice-captain.
The pair are currently leading South Africa in their ongoing Women’s T20I Tri-Series against India and the West Indies in East London.
Former captain Dané van Niekerk missed out on selection due to failing a 2km time trial by 18 seconds.

Ranked fifth, the Proteas Women will contest the opening game of the World Cup against Sri Lanka on Friday, 10 February at Newlands.
They will then take on New Zealand (13 February), defending champions Australia (18 February) and Bangladesh (21 February) in an effort to qualify for their second straight T20 World Cup semi-final after their impressive showing in Australia, 2020.
Group B is made up of England, India, Pakistan, the West Indies and Ireland.
The top two teams in each group will advance to the semi-finals before the champions are crowned on Sunday, 26 February at Newlands.
