Openers Dominic Hendricks and Joshua Richards both struck impressive centuries as the Lions chased down a target of 334 to beat the Knights at the Wanderers.
Resuming on 166-0 on Thursday, the men from Johannesburg kicked on with bat in hand to claim a four-wicket victory after the Knights looked to be in control for the majority of the match.
Hendricks made 119 and Richards 136 for a record opening-wicket partnership to hand the Lions their first win of the campaign.

In Durban the Cobras were set a target of 295 for victory against the Dolphins but Ashwell Prince’s charges batted through the final two sessions of the day to conclude the match on 155-6 as the spoils were shared between the two teams.
