South Africa have slid down to No 5 on the ICC rankings for T20 teams after their group stage exit from the World T20 tournament in India.
The Proteas are now fifth on 115 points, while winners West Indies have closed the gap on India to only a point as they moved up to second.
Faf du Plessis remains the highest ranked South African T20 batsmen in fifth place with Hashim Amla occupying the No 12 spot. Imran Tahir (second) and Kyle Abbott (fifth) represent South Africa in the top 10 rankings for T20 bowlers.
