Northamptonshire hace signed South African duo Rory Kleinveldt and Richard Levi for the 2015 English county season.
Batsman Levi will return to Northants for a third successive sesaon and seamer Kleinveldt will join the club for the first time, having withdrawn from a 2014 contract due to a knee injury.
‘It will be a great boost to know we will have two international players available to us for the whole season,’ said Northamptonshire head coach David Ripley.
‘We are excited about Richard establishing himself in the four-day team as well as having his firepower in our one-day side. He has had a great winter and was named player of the competition in the South African Ram Slam.
‘Rory will be a terrific bowler in English conditions. He has just featured in the South African side against the Lions, where he was amongst the wickets on a pretty flat pitch. We look forward to managing his workload over the season to get the best out of him.
‘Richard and Rory know each other very well, and I’m sure they will enjoy their time together in Northamptonshire.’
The 27-year-old Levi and 31-year-old Kleinveldt have not played for the Proteas since December 2012 and July 2013 respectively.
Former Proteas opening batsman Alviro Petersen, meanwhile, has secured a two-year contract with Lancashire. Petersen retired from international cricket earlier this month, ending a career that spanned 36 Tests, 21 ODIs and two T20Is.
