Heinrich Klaasen scored the first century in Major League Cricket in the Seattle Orcas’ two-wicket win against MI New York on Tuesday.
The Proteas batsman hit an unbeaten 110 off 44 balls (nine fours, seven sixes) as Seattle reached their target of 195 with four balls remaining.

The win sees Seattle finish top of the log after the league stage of the inaugural tournament.
They will face Faf du Plessis’ Texas Super Kings in the first playoff qualifier on Friday, with the Washington Freedom and MI New York meeting in Thursday’s eliminator.
