In the 13th over, Virat Kohli hit a single off Jasprit Bumrah. The ball rolled just short of midwicket and the throw from Hardik Pandya hit Kishan’s eye on the bounce.
Kishan walked away holding his eye and then fell to the ground, whimpering in pain.
Pandya stood over him with his hands on his head. The team management and medical staff rushed to Kishan to provide treatment to the swelling over his right eye as he stood up and was helped off the field.
