Proteas Women stars Marizanne Kapp and Lizelle Lee will remain with Surrey Stars for the 2018 edition of the KIA Super League.
All-rounder Kapp joined the Stars in 2016, and her contribution with bat and ball helped the side reach Finals Day for the first time last season.
Lee joined the Stars last year on the back of ending the 2017 Women’s World Cup with the most sixes. Her stand-out performance for the Stars was her 72 off 44 balls against eventual champions Western Storm.
Richard Bedbrook, Surrey CCC’s Women’s Head Coach, said: ‘It’s great to welcome back two internationals of the calibre of Marizanne and Lizelle. They are both world-class players and have contributed extremely well in the past.
‘As well as their performances on the field, it’s fantastic that our younger players will be able to learn from their experience and play alongside them, as well as England stars like Nat [Sciver], Sarah [Taylor], Laura [Marsh] and Bryony [Smith].
‘As well as improving our own squad, these experiences will be hugely valuable as we also look to continue developing the next generation of English talent,’ said Bedbrook.
