Newly appointed Proteas batting consultant Jacques Kallis says he is looking forward to helping get the national team ‘back to where they belong’.
On Wednesday, Kallis was named as an assistant to former teammate and good friend Mark Boucher, who was officially unveiled as the Proteas new head coach last weekend.
Kallis will serve as batting consultant for the rest of the 2019-20 season, returning to a coaching role for the first time since leaving his role as head coach of the Kolkata Knight Riders earlier this year.
