South Africa ‘A’ four-day captain Aiden Markram says he’s learnt a great deal from the side’s one-day captain, Khaya Zondo.
Markram says his good rapport with Zondo, coupled with the Dolphins player’s experience and approach to captaincy, will make him an indispensable asset during the side’s four-day matches.
‘He’s a really nice guy and is going to help me a lot, so I’m going to keep him quite close to me. I’m excited to be working with him, I think he captains in a unique way and he’s someone I can relate to, so I’m very excited,’ Markram said.

“We all have one common goal and one common mission, We’re going to go there and try to win, that’s what it’s all about, so there’s more to it than just using this tour as a stepping stone or whatever the case may be,’ he added.
The tour features three ODIs against the England Lions, followed by a four-day match.
