India romped home to an emphatic nine-wicket victory over Pakistan in the Super Four stage of the Asia Cup in Dubai.
Pakistan had stuttered along to 58-3 after 16 overs before captain Sarfraz Ahmed (44 off 66 balls) and Shoaib Malik (78 off 90 balls, four fours, two sixes) added 107 for the fourth wicket.
Asif Ali kept the scoring going with a quickfire 30 off 21 balls (four fours, two sixes) to take Pakistan through to a respectable 237-7 off their 50 overs.
Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal both picked up two wickets, while the pick of the bowlers was Jasprit Bumrah, who bowled exceptionally to record figures of 10-1-29-2 (econ 2.90).
India responded magnificently, with Shikhar Dhawan and captain Rohit Sharma putting together an opening stand of 210 before Dhawan was run out for 114 off 100 balls in the 34th over. His innings included 16 fours and two sixes.
Sharma saw his side through to victory in the 40th over, ending undefeated on 111 off 119 balls (seven four, four sixes.
