Virat Kohli led from the front with an unbeaten 73 as India levelled the T20 series with a seven-wicket win over England on Sunday.
After being completely outplayed in Friday’s first encounter, the hosts were eager to show a response in Ahmedabad.
England batted first and Jason Roy once again led the attack for the visitors with 46 from 35 deliveries at the top of the order.
Dawid Malan and Ben Stokes both made 24, while Eoin Morgan struck 28 as England posted a respectable 164-6 in their 20 overs.

India were in trouble early on again, though, with KL Rahul departing for a duck. But, Kohli and Ishan Kishan got the ball rolling for India with an impressive 94 run stand. Kishan smashed his way to 56 of 32 before being trapped in front by Adil Rashid.
Rishabh Pant added a quick-fire 26 but he was caught by Jonny Bairstow off a Chris Jordan delivery. Kohli stood firm and brought up his own half-century in style, seeing his team across the line with 13 balls to spare in the match, levelling the five-match series at 1-1.
The two teams will meet again on Tuesday in the third T20I.
