India wrapped up a 3-2 series victory over England with a 36-run win in the final and deciding T20I in Ahmedabad on Saturday.
With all to play for in the final encounter of the five-match series, the hosts produced a clinical performance to emerge victorious.
Captain Virat Kohli scored an unbeaten 80 off 52 deliveries, while Rohit Sharma struck 64 from 34 to help India post a massive 224-2 in their 20 overs.
Jos Buttler and Dawid Malan kept the visitors in the tie with a 130-run partnership, despite losing Jason Roy for a duck.
But, regular wickets by Shardul Thakur and Bhuvneshwar Kumar kept India ahead as England fell way behind the required run rate.
In the end, England only managed 188-8 and that secured the series win for India.
