Suryakumar Yadav hit 57 and Shardul Thakur took three wickets as India secured an eight-run win over England on Thursday, levelling the series at 2-2.
Yadav’s knock helped the hosts post a decent 185-8 in their 20 overs with Shreyas Iyer chipping in with 37 down the order.
Jason Roy once again made a flying start with the bat, smashing his way to 40 off 27 deliveries before he departed.
Thakur received handy assistance from Hardik Pandya and Rahul Chahar, who both claimed two wickets each to help restrict England.
Ben Stokes top-scored for the visitors on 46 and England required nine from two balls, but Thakur kept things tight to see India home.
The deciding and final clash will take place on Saturday.
