Former Proteas batsman Herschelle Gibbs has been named as the new head coach for the Kuwait national cricket team.
Gibbs’ first task in his new role will be the ICC World T20 sub-regional qualifiers that will take place in the country in April.
Gibbs played 90 Tests, 248 ODIs and 23 T20Is for South Africa in a memorable international career spanning 14 years from 1996 to 2010.
