Reeza Hendricks scored 102 as South Africa A beat a Zimbabwe XI by 51 runs via the DLS method in Harare on Wednesday.
The Zimbabwe XI were 93-4 after 20 overs, in response to SA A’s 266-6, when bad light ended the game.
Hendricks hit four boundaries in his 107-ball innings, while Ryan Rickelton struck 63 off 82.
SA A captain Heinrich Klaasen (28), Andile Phehlukwayo (27) and Theunis de Bruyn (24) also made useful contributions with the bat.
Tendai Chatara (2-44), Wellington Masakadza (2-49) and Sikandar Raza (2-56) all picked up two wickets for the hosts.
Lizaad Williams (2-19) was once again the top-order destroyer, taking the wickets of Kevin Kasuza (nought) and Prince Masvaure (six) inside the first six overs of the Zimbabwe XI’s reply.
Raza (39*) and Milton Shumba (31*) were at the crease when the players were forced to leave the field.
The Zimbabwe XI won the first match between the teams on Monday by five runs (via DLS method) when bad light stopped play with seven balls remaining.
