Robbie Frylinck’s 19th over hat-trick helped restrict the Warriors to 153-8, which they successfully defended in a one-run win at St George’s Park.
The Warriors’ innings got off to a slow start when they lost their top three for 25 runs, but a recovery from Christiaan Jonker and Colin Ackermann saw the pair strike an 88-run partnership to take the hosts past the 100-run mark.
Jonker went on to score his half-century and joined up with Lesiba Ngoepe to add 22 runs to the total before the Frylinck carnage began.
With the Warriors on 141-5, Frylnick dismissed Jonker on a 36-ball 59, followed by Sisanda Magala and Andrew Birch for a duck, to complete his hat-trick.
The 33-year-old all-rounder ended with figures of 3-23 as the Warriors were restricted to 153-8 in their 20 overs.
