One of Australia’s leading entertainment and sports broadcasters Foxtel is the latest partner to secure rights for the SA20.
The partnership will bring the SA20 to the homes of Australia’s passionate sporting base, who will have access to all 33 matches of South Africa’s premier T20 league.
This is despite the fact the competition overlaps with Australia’s Big Bash League.
The SA20’s growing broadcast coverage sees it connecting with millions of fans in Sub-Saharan Africa through SuperSport, India through Viacom18, the UK through Sky Sports and now Australia through Foxtel.
“We are excited to take the SA20 to the Australian market. We know the Aussies are big cricket fans, this will be another quality product on their screens,” league commissioner Graeme Smith said.
