In another disastrous day for Cricket South Africa, acting CEO Dr Jacques Faul has also decided to resign with immediate effect.
His decision comes hours after CSA president Chris Nenzani announced that he would be leaving his role with the board on Monday after seven years in charge.

Faul confirmed his departure to IOL on Monday afternoon but didn’t provide an official reason for his decision as his time as acting CEO was due to end on 15 September.
It is believed that Faul is highly unhappy with the way the governing body is operating and the mismanagement that has rooted severe financial problems at CSA.
As it stands, CSA is currently without a CEO and president ahead of its annual general meeting next month.
No statement has yet been released on behalf of CSA with regard to Faul’s resignation.
