• Faf regains IPL orange cap

    Faf du Plessis returned to the top of the 2023 IPL run-scorers list on Monday.

    The Royal Challengers Bangalore captain scored 44 off 40 balls against the Lucknow Super Giants, to move past the Rajasthan Royals’ Yashasvi Jaiswal.

    Du Plessis took his tally to 466 runs in nine matches at an average of 58.25 and a strike rate of 159.58. He has hit five half-centuries, with a highest score of 84.

    Jaiswal has made 428 runs, while the Chennai Super Kings’ Devon Conway is next on the list with 414.
