Faf du Plessis scored another impressive half-century as the Chennai Super Kings claimed a comfortable seven-wicket win over the Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL on Wednesday.
Du Plessis has been in quite sensational form this season, and currently sits at the top of the leading run-scorers table, having tallied 270 runs from six innings at an average of 67.50.
It was his 56 on Wednesday, coupled with an impressive 75 from Ruturaj Gaikwad, that laid the foundation for Wednesday’s successful run chase.
Earlier in the day, the Sunrisers had tallied 171 after Manish Pandey top-scored with 61, while Proteas paceman Lungi Ngidi returned figures of 2-35.
