Faf du Plessis continued his run-scoring exploits for the Royal Challengers Bangalore in the IPL on Thursday.
The former Proteas captain struck 84 off 56 balls against the Punjab Kings, including five fours and five sixes, and was involved in a 137-run opening partnership with Virat Kohli (59 off 47).
Bangalore ended up posting 174-4 in their 20 overs and went on to win by 24 runs.

Du Plessis is the leading run-scorer in this year’s IPL, with 343 in six matches, at an average of 68.60 and a strike rate of 166.50. He has hit four half-centuries.
