England have named their 15-man Champions Trophy squad, which excludes Steven Finn and Ben Duckett.
The ECB have announced two England ODI squads, a 14-man squad to face Ireland and a 15-man squad to face South Africa in the three-match ODI series starting on 24 May and the Champions Trophy in June.
Durham seamer Mark Wood, who has 11 ODIs to his name, has been selected for both squads having been out the squad since September and will hope he can make his return against Ireland. Yorkshire all-rounder David Willey has also been included for both squads, having missed the West Indies series in March with a shoulder injury.
Middlesex seamer, Finn, and Northamptonshire batsman Duckett, have both been excluded from the 15-man squad but have been included in the squad to face Ireland.
The experienced 28-year-old, Finn, has played 68 ODIs taking 102 wickets @ 29.02 and an economy rate of 5.06.
Twenty-two-year-old, Duckett, has played three ODIs and has scored 123 runs @ 41.00, which includes two fifties.
National selector, James Whitaker, expressed his thoughts on the squads on ECB’s official website.
‘We have made encouraging progress over the past 18 months in white ball cricket and the squads selected reflects consistency and gives options across all disciplines.
‘It is pleasing that Mark Wood and David Willey have returned to full fitness. They add variety and quality to our bowling strengths and David’s ability as an attacking batsman is also an important element for us.

‘As we build-up to the ICC Champions Trophy in June, matches against Ireland and South Africa are very important in their own right as we aim to win both series.’
Jos Buttler, Ben Stokes and Chris Woakes have not been considered for selection for the Ireland series due to their ongoing Indian Premier League commitments. They return to England on 15 May.
