The Netherlands have arrived in South Africa for their three-match ODI series against the Proteas.
All three ODIs will take place at SuperSport Park, Centurion, with the first scheduled for Friday, 26 November.
Between 2007 and 2014, the Proteas played four ODIs and one T20I against the Netherlands and won them all. Three of the ODIs were in World Cups, while the T20I was in the T20 World Cup.
At the end of the 1994 tour to England, South Africa lost an unofficial match to the Netherlands on their turf.
This will be the first time that the teams meet in South Africa.
“CSA is delighted to welcome the Netherlands team to South Africa,” said Graeme Smith, CSA director of cricket. “This tour will kickstart an incredibly exciting international summer of cricket for the Proteas and CSA. The Netherlands brings an exciting flavour to the world game, and we look forward to an exciting series.”
The series will accrue Cricket World Cup Super League (CWCSL) points for the 50-over World Cup in 2023.
